Keovathana Run

Doctoral Student
CNRS
Participates in 1 Session

RUN Keovathana is a PhD student at the LMGC laboratory at the University of Montpellier (France). Prior to her PhD, she was an architectural engineering student from Cambodia who went on to study sustainable building and energy engineering at the University of Reunion Island (France). She is now in the second year of her doctoral thesis entitled "Thermal Comfort and Energy Efficiency in an Educational Building in the Mediterranean Region." Her work focuses on indoor climate and energy efficiency in existing school buildings under Mediterranean weather before and after renovation. As COVID -19 changed normal building use, energy performance and indoor climate were affected. Her work, presented at the conference, therefore addressed the impact of COVID -19 on educational buildings from an energy efficiency perspective.

She looks forward to staying in touch with conference attendees to share and discuss similar issues.
