Federico is a postdoctoral scholar at SinBerBEST, BEARS (Singapore). Federico received his Ph.D. in 2017, he studied the impact of IEQ on perceptions of occupants (staff and residents) and agitated behaviors of residents at aged care facilities. At BEARS Federico's core research is on thermal comfort (link to his publications), he worked on personal comfort models and air movement. He has also contributed extensively to the development of several CBE tools like the CBE thermal comfort tool, pythermalcomfort, Cozie for iOS, and the CBE Clima Tool. While here he will be working on developing new features to the above-mentioned tools, comparing the accuracy of different PMV models, and calculating the cooling effect of personal fans using the thermal manikin. Find out more about Federico here and connect with him on LinkedIn here.
