I was born in 1980 in Mashhad, Iran. In 2008, I got a master's degree in architectural engineering from the Islamic Azad University Mashhad branch. Before graduating, I co-founded my company Payazistgostar, a private construction company active in both the private and public sectors. To acquire more knowledge, in April 2019, I started a PhD in the architecture department of Gent University building physics group under supervision of Professor Nathan Van Den Bossche, focusing on hygrothermal modelling the historical wall assemblies in the middle east under the impact of climate change.
