
Lijun (Larry) Yang is an passionate energy professional with over 15 years of energy efficiency industry, strategic energy management, sustainability, and facility management experience. Larry is currently the energy manager on St. George campus at the University of Toronto where he manages the energy programs and renewable energy project initiatives. Specialized in net-zero energy existing building retrofit strategies and performance-based procurement, Larry oversees the implementation of ISO50001 Standard to continually improve the energy performance of his campus. Prior to joining the UofT, Larry was partitioning in the building energy consulting industry for more than a decade. Larry has a M.A. Sc. from Concordia University and many industrial credentials including P.Eng., CEM, CMVP, BEAP, CBCP, CRE, and CEFP as his profession expands. Larry is fascinated by the work that UofT energy/sustainability team is doing and learning. He loves sharing those fresh, practical, and visionary experiences of managing a large campus energy system with like-minded people.
