My research is focused on improving building energy efficiency using innovative nano-materials. I primarily work with chromogenic materials and my research path involves studying adaptive transparent systems. The principal objective of this research is to help the technological transfer of material science discoveries into the construction sector to enhance a building’s energy efficiency, thermal and visual comfort of its occupants, and optical performance of its glazing systems.
