Mathias Cehlin
Mathias Cehlin is Associate Professor in Energy Systems at University of Gävle. He holds a PhD in indoor climate and a Docent degree in energy systems. Mathias is an experienced leader in academia. Mathias is appointed co-director of the strategic research area Urban Sustainability at the University of Gävle, which aims to contribute to an urban sustainable development that improves people's living environment and health. Mathias also coordinates the research program Urban Transition with a mission to accelerate the transition to a sustainable society through changes in technical, ecological and socio-technical systems. Furthermore, he is program director of the industrial post-graduate school Reesbe and is regional manager for the national competence centre RESILIENT Energy System.
